It appears real, and quite likely is. The why totally escapes me. Notice he thoroughly wets his hand and then just dips in and out as quickly as he can. Quite feasible, but yes, he is an idiot.

Yes, an idiot, and as I just stated in the last post I commented upon, shows a total lack of regard for anyone else. How many people - especially young people - might now try this? How many burnt fingers will this selfish moron be partially responsible for?

I am astonished but not surprised. Now that the children who were the beginning students of the "dumbing down" of America in the early eighties are now grown up, we are seeing the results. I am so distressed by what I have been seeing these last ten years, I am convinced this great nation will soon be ending its reign as the only superpower. Several decades ago before I learned some smarts I was casting bullets on the kitchen stove. We had a great stove and it worked really good for casting. It was hot in the AZ summer and all we had was a swamp box so I was casting with no shirt 
. At some point I heard a sizzle sound and smelled burning hair. I casually looked down and saw that I had the hot mold against my belly. I was sweating like a pig, and I did not get burned. However to this day some 35 years later no hair grows in that spot.
Most likely the idiot who wet his finger and quickly stuck it in and out of the lead did not get burned. But he's still an idiot.
I am in total agreement with both Ysabel Kid and Sixgun. I've watched the drugged out hippies of the sixties and the morons of the 70s and 80s grow up. And now I'm watching the foundation of our country rot from inside. So sad.
