I checked my Minnesota Gazetteer and the fire is about 50 - 60 miles east of Hibbing and a bit south. We were up the North Shore about a month ago in our truck camper, camped about 20 miles SW of Grand Marais.
It's very dry over there.

It`s been really hot here for a long time my lawn is all brown temps in the 90`s, praying someone doesn`t start a fire around here.
Looks like a cool down and some rain coming starting Friday afternoon.
