Every night before they goes to bed both boys come in and hug me.
The 5 year old comes through the door, picking his nose with his right hand.
When he hugs me his right hand goes behind me on my back.
I don't have to check to know what's there ......
Both boys give me a bedtime hug.
I don't have worry about the 7 year old wiping anything on me cuz he eats his.

Gotta say that's funny. Now tonight when they come for their hugs you need to have a great big wad of rubber cement on your finger!
We have three Grandsons , the oldest is nine.....My neighbor has two kids , six and eight. when all five are here nothing is safe . mayhem is the norm.
Glad I was never a kid.
Posting this reminded me of the story of two old guys sitting on a park bench, talking.
One old guy says, "Say, I have never shown you pictures of my grandkids have I?"
The other answered, "No. And I really want to thank you."

That's funny and is also true human nature....the only people who are truly interested are the ones who share blood......everyone else is just being polite.
I LOVE all children from every corner of the world....innocence in it's purest and grandest form..... and a child could not be much safer then when they are around me.....but......it don't take long for a child from about 5-10 to get on my nerves really fast.... ----006

That's too funny!
I'm enjoying these, I hope some more guys share some stories. Our little granddaughter is only three months now, cute but not very entertaining yet.
The kids call us Grandma Glitter and the Professor already, I thought that was cute.

Mine is five he’ll be six in December . Haven’t been able to see him in person since before he turned four . I do see him almost every day on video cam , not the same but better than nothing with this present crud infested world . Just kinda hard each time he says to me “Ampah when are you coming home ?” And then he says “can we go fishing and swimming when you come home ?” .
