El Paso Saddlery?
Anybody have any direct personal experience with Mr. Taylor?

Been years, but it was good stuff then. I have driven by the shop in El Paso. Pretty low-key.
Re: El Paso Saddlery?
I just ordered a fully carved holster, matching carved mag holder and matching carved belt. They showed up well before I was expecting them and they are very nice!

I have 4 or 5 of there Holsters. Great quality leather!

I had them make a Wes Hardin shoulder rig back in early 90's .for Colt SAA 45 .Fish scale stamped all by hand.
Beautiful work.

Excellent choice. Not cheap but well made. I have a money belt with loops with a Mexican loop holster on each side. My wife ordered it one Christmas way back. She's been gone ten years but I still have the rig. Mine is standard but it looks really good. If I ordered again I might spring for full floral carving.

I carried one of their rigs for years as a Deputy Sheriff. Good quality leather.
I generally go by the shop when I am in El Paso and I am treated well there. Good folks.
However, almost all my leather these days comes from Simply Rugged.

Generally their leather is a bit dressy and still very good quality. I would say they are geared more towards cowboy, working, duty, hunting rigs than ccw or minimalist utilitarian open carry. In other words you can show this stuff off and still use it
