I cant remember a time where the news was such total propaganda like it is today! I don't even trust my small town news's anymore. Just tell me about the weather and turn off the tv set! As a retired member of the "lamestream media" that gets so little respect these days, I will say just one thing: Beware any news source that tells you what you want to hear. That's the real "fake news."
In my decades in newsrooms, everyone I knew tried hard every day to tell the truth and get it right.
That said, as an old newspaperman, I much prefer to read my news from many sources, and can hardly stand to watch network TV news.
