This is kinda off topic, but I could promise only to shoot levers and it would be ok.
I shot some video of me taking out a few water jugs with the Mosin and had a "blast" doing it. Anyways, I was thinking of documenting some more firearm escapades in the future but don't have any way to get them on the computer for storage/distubution.
I was hoping someone had any suggestions on products to do this. I know there are a few different ways to get the job done, but, was looking for something reliable and decently priced.
Anybody have much experiance with this stuff?

If you do it with a digital camera that captures video, the camera's own software will usually make it easy. Those cameras are now well under $100 and will capture up to a minute or two of video usually fairly easily.
For the "regular" VHS type cameras, I assume a video card with an input jack would be a start...?

Digital video is easy to upload onto windows boxes. Then you can use the microsoft application called "movie maker". It's free software, runs on winxp and I suppose others, and is surprisingly easy to use and fairly powerful given its cost.
