and a special thanks to J. Miller for saving me from a BIG OOOPPPS.
I DID NOT BANG ON THE FRONT SIGHT. without his advise, I would
have taken the hammer to it........
OK; Report, Again, You guys getting tired of the sagga....
Installed a "Marble" full Buckhorn rear sight. Nice sight picture but the
sight is a little 'tinny'. I got lucky, Installed sight and windage is 'ON'.
You can see that the sight is offset for the rotated barrel, but when you
bring the gun up to shoot, it is not noticeable .
The Buckhorn sight seems to come on target quickly.
I think I'm going to like it better than the aperture sight for hunting.
I fired some 300 Grain Hornady HP/XTP and some 240 Grain Speer HP.
The 240 seem to shoot better. ( Disreguard '260' on pic's ).
I do have to get better glasses, and My shooting got worse with shoots fired.
The 300 Grain have some snap, kept putting my thumb knuckle in my nose....
The 300 Grain shot a 1-2 inches lower than 240 Grain , and both
240 & 300 Grain Win loads shoot WAY lower than SAA Loads.
The SAA Loads were about 12-14 Inches high at 25 Yards .
Sight Picture:
6 O'Clock Hold.
Front Blade level with rear sight @ 50 Yards,
@ 100 yards I had the front post raised to where the radius of the lower part of the front sight was just starting to show in rear sight notch..
Pictures:
Marble Sight ( Doesn't Have a class look, does it ? )

Rear sight Off Set for Rotated Barrel; Shoots better than it looks....

50Yards 240 Grain,

50 Yards 300 Grain, 2/5shoot groups, Adj'd Elevation up
Note" The Black Pasters are the Last 6 240 Grain Shooting through
the lower part of my Glasses, Windage Improved but Elevation bad as
I could not see the Target Well.

300 Grain, Hot Loads @ 100 Yards, All on the target : This is where I need new Glasses
