I went to the State range run by the DOW yesterday, a nice day, little windy but what bothered me the most was the height of the bench. I had to hunch over to get down to the rifle, should have brought more bags to raise me up. This caused a little more felt recoil. No great shooting was done but got to try out my new Winchester Extra Light.

I sure do miss the wide open places.

I got the rifles, I just need the place.
dkmlever,
I know of about 100 places like that in AZ, I know how much enjoyment you can get out in the nowheres shooting.
