Amarillo gun show this weekend..

Post by morgan in nm »

Went to the gun show this weekend for the first time in 10 years. I didn't leave much money there because everything was too pricey. I seen several winchesters but they all were anywhere from 1.5X to 3X there value in my opinion. Either that or I have been out of the business so long that I don't know what things are worth. IE-Winchester 94 SRC in poor condition for $1100. They did have a very nice marlin carbine in 32-20 for $700 that was in every bit of 95% condition.

Now for the OT part of this message, I seen a 86 Winchester in the 31,xxx range, 40-82, factory nickeled for sale in another location around Amarillo for $2250. The condition was not the best as only about 10% of the nickel was still on it and the bore was gone. What I liked was that it had never been messed with. Are they bringing that much?

Thanks, Morgan.

If the gun will letter with the nickle finish, it probably an OK price. If it doesn't letter, then, no.
