I like it. Wouldn’t wanna shoot it tho, maybe if in 20 or 28gauge!
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

Too much to ask, but...

It would be really cool if it fired the 12ga shell first, then fed in a chamber/barrel adapter which allowed you to shoot 8 rounds of 45 ACP right behind it, all without racking the slide...

Then again, I could just carry a LeMat?!?!

It'll be fine you wussies, I can't believe I am hearing the whimpish remarks about recoil. Elmer Keith would not complain!

I'd try it. I was warned about recoil when I picked up my first 44 Magnum, a 629. After I fired a cylinder of factory 240 JHP my friend asked me "whut do ya think?". I couldn't answer for a few minutes 'cause I was grinnin' from ear to ear but finally said "what recoil?"...

There is a YouTube video of a 12 gauge Rossi single shot pistol being shot with slugs. The recoil and muzzle flip are amazing, Elmer would be proud. Todd/3leg

Somewhere on YouTube there is a .600 nitro t/c contender that was a handful, dont think anyone could hold it under recoil. Full house 12 ga slug not far off the mark.
I'd rather shoot my 629 25 times than a 12 ga slug gun!

Two weekends back, I took a Technician from work and a friend of his to the gun range. They tried my Super RedHawk in .480 Ruger. They both were grinning, but declined the offer to try it a second time. I shot it another 6 shots. My grouping on that cylinder full was 4 in the bullseye and 2 in the 10 ring at 10 yards. They were impressed, and I thought I need a lot more practice. We then fired my .44 Magnum, then my 10mm. I hadn't been to the range but two times in probably 8 months before that. I really need to practice. As bad as I feel I was, I would probably flinch after 1 or 2 rounds out of that pistol with the 12 gauge shell.

If you want to hurt somebody with that thing, hand it to them and say "betcha can't do all eight rounds." My only question is...WHY?
a Pennsylvanian who has been accused of clinging to my religion and my guns......Good assessment skills.
