OT- Voting records

Post by Andrew »

Not ours, those of congress and the house. I have found myself very interested in what people have done voting wise with their positions as "law makers".

It could be very helpful in those "did you know..." conversations about politics. However, I have had trouble finding said records. Do any of you have a good link to that info? I would love to be able to get my grubby electronic paws on it.

Thanks. :D

Gun Owners of America is good on the firearms issue:

http://gunowners.org/

Check all the subcategories on the main page; presidential candidates are there, and http://gunowners.org/cgv.htm is linked to lower in the page for congressional voting records.

The On The Issues site is not always as in-depth or accurate as I'd like ideally, but it does give a good overview.

I posted a link here about 8 months ago... Guess I'll need to look it up and repost.

PS So here's some info to start you off...

I agree checking voting records is needed - but it is very depressing... :(

True - still depressing though, because once you read their actual voting records, you realize that but for a precious few, they are ALL enemies of freedom and liberty - regardless of whether they have a (D) or (R) behind their names!
