I hope you all ring in the new year safely tonight. Wishing you the best in 2017. I must say I am happy to see 2016 go; it was not a great year for me personally overall, though it did have some great highlights (can you say "election results"? ).

I pray there are no attacks this evening, and that no one falls the victim of thugs or drunk drivers. Be safe and happy you all!

I wonder if my old college buddy still has his WW2 air raid siren... He would fire that up every New Year at midnight! Was so funny watching all the lights come on for as far as we could see, miles away!
