Lil'Gun loads

Post by GunnyMack »

Just started thinking about taking my 25-20 out to play.
Has/ does anyone have load data for Lil'Gun in 25-20?
No data on Hodgen site.
Did a little snooping on the web but couldn't find anything concrete...

Just looked thru my brand new Lyman 50th Ed Reloading Handbook, none in there either. But, a "google search" for Lil' Gun 25-50 took me here: http://www.realguns.com/articles/436.htm

Thanks Griff!
I saw that link when I googled, but for some reason it would not open.
I have a Savage 23b, although someone cut the barrel and drooled & tapped for a side mount. It's a good shooter, 1" or better at 100 from the bench.

7.5-7.8 is the sweet spot for my 115-120 grain load 32-20. My experience with LG (32-20 & 38/357/360 DW) shows it likes about 90% of the space below as max and good crimp.
Kind regards,
Tycer

Funny thing is Hodgen site lists Lilgun for 218 Bee but not 25-20, I wonder if they don't HAVE a rifle chambered for 25-20 to develop loads...
I also have a Bee and want to try Lilgun in it too. Both use about the same load, the 25-20 should be a bit lower pressure. Also gotta work up a Hornet load!
