Good war between the States read

Post by JNG »

Son got me a book " Rebel Yell", By S.C. Gwynne. The Violence, Passion, and Redemption of Thomas (Stonewall) Jackson.
Very good read. I am a civil war buff and I learned a lot. Worth the time to read.

Germany's Edwin Rommel came to the US in the 1930's to study Stonewall Jackson's tactics and then used them in WWII, Jackson was a great General and an inspiration to many.

Have not read that one yet. Will have to check it out.

My GG Grandfather was under Jackson and Lee's command.
