Decided to go with another levergun combo for installment # 9 of my 17-part series on gun combos. In case you missed the previous installments, here they are:

Another great combo. I personally like the grips on the .357.
17 combos? This is going to get interesting down the stretch!!

The grips look great in the photo, and they aren't bad, but they just aren't fit particularly well. You can't tell from the photo.
Heck, I'll probably keep them on her - I don't like to alter the guns that belonged to my father...

I'm liking the combos. I love the history and your choice for close in work could not be improved upon, especially here in the east.

Check out Eagle Grips too. They've got some nice stuff. I love the stag grips I got for my model 21. Been wanting to order a pair for my SBH.

Jeremy -
You won't get any argument from me there! I picked up this set of engraved cocobolo dorado grips for a Hi-power clone I have from "Exotic Grips by Esmeralda" earlier this year:
I have been checking her site with the Ruger in mind, and think I may drop her a line!
Here I've gone and hijacked my own thread!

A great looking Combo Ysabel. Can't believe you've kept that Flat Top from us! It's worthy of a nice set of grips for sure.
