Great old photo, your Great Grandmother was quite a looker, even without smiling....

Those old photos are a treasure. My eldest sister worked for years putting together a book of family history and photos. It's an amazing collection of folks, many of whom I've never heard of before, back to the 1700's.

You're lucky to have that Blaine. All the photos on mom's side burned up in a house fire about 1938. I would have loved to have seen a wedding photo of my great-grandparents in Buffalo Gap, Texas, circa 1882.

Cool...love old photos.
Is it me, or do people from back in the day look out of proportion? Heads and hands seem bigger than the bodies.

Good looking couple. Love old family photos. It amazes me to look at pictures of my Great Grandfathers brothers and that they look so much like some of my cousins. I mean almost identical!

Re: Great Grandparent's Wedding Picture
Think I read somewhere it was bad form to smile for a picture back then.
