You'd be surprised, it is definitely fodder for both sides of the debate.

Finger pointers love this stuff.

Anyone who can mentally break it down will realize that you are prolly much
better off having "your own gun" at times like these. Kinda goes without saying, eh.

A lot of these shootings are causing people to actively seek CCW's. Which may
be the only good thing to come of these events. The more good people with
CCW's the better chance these things will be stopped by an average citizen.

Most media doesn't trust you to have weapons, so they love showing this stuff.
It is part of their agenda.

The more they show it, the more wacko's see it as a way to resolve their
own disfunction.

These kind of stories are self replicating type things, like suicides.

If it keeps going on and on it will slowly cause more people to arm themselves.

Hopefully someday whenever a wacko means to prey on a school campus
or any other grouping area. They will be cut down by a responsible citizen
before they can do harm.

So basically the Media is not only responsible for more deaths but they are
helping to arm the average Joe at the same time. Silly people they are.
