Marlin 336 .35 Rem. - shoot .357 Mag.?

Post by Triggernosis »

Can someone tell me if a Marlin 336 in .35 Remington will shoot .357 Mag. pistol cartridges?

It will NOT fire 357 cartridges. You can load 357 bullets in 35 Rem brass, but that is where it ends.

The .35 Remington is a bottlenecked cartridge. The chamber is a larger and completely different shape than the .357.
