Question about calibers .38-70 and .38-72!

Do I have this right?

The .38-70 was a Winchester 1886 cartridge and the .38-72 was in the Winchester 1895?

Yeb! You're right. Between the 38-40, 38-55, 38-56, 38-70, and the 38-72 it's not hard to get mixed up.
