I finally have the cash to pick up the 1860 steel frame Henry I have thought about for years. I decided to go with 45 colt just because brass is more plentiful and bullets more common and easier to obtain for a reloader like me that is not going to shoot black powder.
So I am faced with getting one from Taylor's or getting one from Cimarron at about $150 odd more. My local dealer thinks the Cimarron is probably better but as he said, it is "luck of the draw".
So order from Taylor's or Cimarron? Which one and why?
(Or should I save the 1860 iron frame and get a 92 takedown instead? Ah decisions.....)
Taylor vs. Cimarron, which one and why?
