OnThisTopic --- God's Love
The Bible states that God loves the world so much that he sent Jesus Christ to die as a substitute for our guilt so we don't have to. It's called the Good News. There is no better news ever in all history than this.
If you believe this then celebrate our eternal lives with us. This is the time of year we concentrate a little more on remembering that Christ died, AND that Christ ROSE FROM THE DEAD AND IS ALIVE.
If you don't understand this, please ask someone who does.
If you don't believe this, God still loves you and He still wants you to believe the Good News and that He is still inviting you to believe this. Right now.
I encourage everyone to displace every thought for a moment, and let this Good News overwhelm your concentration. You'll be glad you did.

Hey Grizz,
Here's another nuget for ya. Did ya ever think that on Reserection morning when they went to the tomb, the stone was rolled back.
That wasn't so Jesus could get out... that was so the disciples could see in.

If you're gonna be stupid ya gotta be tough-

Thanks to everyone for helping keep this topic alive. It's the week of Christ's Passion and Ressurection.
I know I get my jaw torqued and grind my teeth and say a lot of rough stuff, but none of it amounts to sand in light of what Jesus did for us. I'm feeling it, and I sincerely thank you for sharing the celebration with me.
The debt we could not hope to pay is wiped clean. How AWESOME is that?

A very revealing story was told by our Pastor:
Many years ago a condemned man was been escotred to the gallows and a priest was walking with him and telling him of the Good News. The condemned stopped and looked very intently into the eyes of the Priest and asked: "Do you truly believe this story of salvation and the hope for all mankind"? The Priest replied that he did.
The condemned said: "If I truly believed as you say that you do, then I would crawl across all England, on my hands and knees if need be, to spread this message and have all to hear.
Do we truly believe? If so, what can be more important?
