Its not easy to walk away and I commend you. You really should have snagged the 375 though--good price.

I was at the Harrisburg show yesterday and met Noah Zark. A very intelligent dude and we had some great talking. Anyway, after a while of BS'en , we separated, the place filled to capacity and thats the last I saw of him. Lot of louey-lookers, did not see a lot of people spending cash.

I negotiated on 3 old Marlins, but I just did not have the spirit to take 'em home, so I did not push the issue. A real nice 1894 in 44-40, a two thirds magazine 1893 with a "climbin' Lyman in 30-30, and another 1893 in 38-55 that had questionable rifling and a drilled hole through the magazine (?)

I do have gunshow burnout, so I'm gonna stay away from shows for the next week or two. :D -------Sixgun

My report is in the Harrisburg Show thread.

The highlight of the show was the hour before it opened, spent chatting with Sixgun and solving about half the country's and world's problems. We would have worked out resolution on the other half but they oened the hall doors at 0900 and we had more pressing matters at hand . . .

Hobie, I think you gave Noah a complex as he took his avatar off. To answer your question, I personally think he looks a lot like...... you! :D Now that you bring it to my attention, he does look like Robert Palmer. I was very much impressed with his working knowledge of computers and CNC machinery. I was even more impressed on how he MADE 2K at a gunshow as opposed to me SPENDING $$$$. Man! That guy is good!------------Sixgun

I feel for Noah if he looks at all like me.

I'm another who never makes money at gun shows. I'm sure it is possible but I can't do it. Sometimes I think that EVERYONE ELSE makes money at gunshows FROM ME!
