Prayer request please

Post by rjohns94 »

Folks, never thought I would find myself in this place, asking for prayers for this particular thing, but it goes to show we are never sure of the journey that God puts before us. For the first time since I was 11, I find myself facing unemployment. First change will be a complete cessation of gun buying! lol. Then my job will be to spend my waking hours looking for work. I am seeing this as an opportunity to reshape my life and redirect my life in a positive direction. I am open to what God has in store. Normally, I walk through open doors as presented. Currently, only door I have seen is the exit door. The fact that I worked where I worship is a big concern. I am sure changes there are soon to follow. Thanks for your prayers and kind thoughts. Blessings

Prayer up Mike. Boy, it is hard not to read a lot of things between those lines. May your faith stay strong, and your outlook stay positive, seeing this as an opportunity and not a loss.

Certainly Mike - prayers up for sure.

You mentioned that this is the first time since you were 11. That, in and of itself, should mean that you will be successful in your job search and soon. I pray this is the case. Anyone who has worked so hard, for so long, will be an asset to any company or group. Please keep us posted.

Best of luck Mike!

I know how you feel, really takes the wind out of your sails.
However I have no doubt that you will prevail, just the kind of guy you are!

I've been there, more than once. It's tough, but it always seems to work out better in the end. You certainly have my prayers.

Will say a few prayers. I'd also like to thank you. I've done some vicarious living and gun buying through you over the years.

Best wishes Mike.

I was recently made redundant in November and was getting worried but I did pray and sure enough something came along, not as lucrative but it pays the bills. I still have a home, my wife and some woods to walk, so hang on in there Mike.

Prayers have been sent. May the Lord bless the next part of your life even more abundantly, than thus far.

Mike,

My prayers are with you. Perhaps you could tell us what type of work you can do. Never know when someone here might just know of something along those lines.
