Lassiter's Turnbull, Court gun

Post by edwardyoung »

This is the gun Lassiter mentioned in casastahle's "Drool rag" thread. I thought I'd start a new thread instead of stomping on that one. I've already offered him $300 for it, so let your offers start there. Beautiful Colt

A color cased 1911 frame? That's different.

If that were a Combat Commander, I'd up the ante! But, love the frame and the grips! The knife is the perfect companion piece! Very NICE!

Lassiter don't need one of them slow shootin things! First time I shot Wild Bunch --- he told me ' an old gentleman with a 6 gun could put a hole in you before you got that new fangled contraption out of the holster'. I like he can quote John Wayne too!
Seriously, he shoots a single action faster than the cycling speed of a 1911!

It can sure be done! I watched a video of the late Bob Mundun shooting 2 balloons so quickley that it sounded like a single shot and they were 5 or 6 feet apart.
