Good week for Y2K
Hi Fellas -
Sorry I haven't been around the last few days. Very hectic, as usual. Y2K had a great week this past week. Last week he earned a promotion in the MC JRTOC program at school. He is now a PFC.
Then yesterday, at Y2K' Boy Scout Court of Honor he was elected Senior Patrol Leader for his Troop. This is the highest youth leadership position a Boy Scout can hold.
Y2K has only two more merit badges, and his Eagle Scout project before earning the Eagle rank.
Yep - bragging again.

Brag on. Always good to hear of a parent doing things the right way, and getting the right results.

Every time I see one of our typical 'College LibTards' or 'Welfare Queens' I hope and pray that there are enough REAL people raising REAL kids with REAL values and REAL intelligence and REAL understanding of history, philosophy, and politics, that our way of life can prevail.
Most kids I know who grow up in the 'worst' conditions of poverty and academic isolation, know FAR more about the real-world than the Yuppie's off-to-college-on-Daddy's-credit-card crowd...

very nice,
after y2k eagles, and wants to rise a little more,
maybe mentor the next senior patrol leader,
there is one more position, junior assistant scout master.
takes a special scout, sounds like he may be the one.

Kid,
Ain't braggin'----------your stating the facts. You have raised a fine young man to which you and your wife deserve a pat on the back.

Re: Good week for Y2K
you're Y2K is a good kid...you should be proud...unfortuantely not like the three minors we talked to today for stealing, selling stolen property, and selling pot to the other not-so-good minors...so to hear good news about a good kid is not bragging it's refreshing... :)
