You do realize that the reason the Mayan calendar ran out is that they couldn't find a bigger rock.

Happy Baktun Day - only comes once every 144,000 days.
I dressed festive today and warm - it was 20 degrees at my house this morning.
Wearing my ropers (of course Wranglers), a fungo shirt (merino wool lined with linen), and my 1951 Tampa Bay Smokers wool jersey.
Topped off with my vintage silverbelly Stetson Open Road fedora.

Don't blame Mayans for pop culture.
Their astronomy and mathematics was incredible. Their pyramids had 365 steps, and they accurately calculated the precession of our solar system fully 1000 years ahead of Kepler.
Of course they counted in base-22 - they used every appendage they could find.
On the dark side, they worshiped a blood and death cult, conquered by annihilation, sacrificing the men and children, and enslaving the women.
The Spanish conquistadores and missionaries were God's men.

That makes me respect them even more. They predicted the greatest cookie of all time next to the chocolate chip.
Nope, those are both behind th simple Peanut Butter Cookie. Nothing is better dipped in a big glass of milk than a warm, fresh off the cookie sheet Peanut Butter Cookie.
