Great day at the range

Post by jnyork »

Yesterday, Friday, we had 29 shooters at our weekly Smallbore Lever Action Silhouette shoot. Perfect weather, started off at 0830 at about 60 degrees and about 80 by noon, with mild breezes. Managed a 33x40 with my 39a and 18x40 with my Sako 78 on the smallbore targets. About half of us went to lunch later at the local BBQ joint, Famous Dave.

I guess someone has to do it. :D

How was YOUR day?

Nice shooting and lucky you. It will be a while before I can get to shoot. Just a little bit of snow out there. I just heard the year to date snow fall for this winter. 285 cm = not quite 9 feet. Good thing we had a warm spell and some melted. Yesterday was ice cream weather( leave it out side and it won't melt -20 F) Today 30 F and 4" of snow. Tomorrow 45F and rain. If you don't like the weather wait a while it will change.
