Well, uh, why would we want somebody else's brass?
More power to you but I'd rather have some O.S.O.K. brass....

Re: Big 44 special group buy!!!!
Why would someone buy a 44 spl when you can buy a 44 mag and shoot
the 44 spl or load the 44mags light?
I did see the new Ruger 44 spl. Vaquero...very very nice..

Re: Big 44 special group buy!!!!
Very simple really. The 44 Special revolvers are lighter and handier. Yet, my Ruger Flattop is sufficiently strong enough to handle a 240 XTP going 1190 fps. That's plenty. And really, a 250 grain Keith swc moving along at 950 fps is plenty for medium game - will poke a hole all the way though.RIHMFIRE wrote:Why would someone buy a 44 spl when you can buy a 44 mag and shoot

I also have Blackhawks in 44 Mag, but they're much heavier and really, more power than I need for whitetail or hogs...
Same reason that we still see 38 Special chambered revolvers - especially the CCW type...

OSOK, youre coming off a bit mean spirited...
Are you famous enough to float 100,000 cases? I might need some if you are! If not, the thread and links clearly state why we hold Steve Call in such high regard.
Cases are 100 bucks for 500 plus shipping.

Re: Big 44 special group buy!!!!
It's only $20,000 to have 100k custom head-stamped cases made? I assume you have to be talking about an existing case that they commonly make already to get it that cheaply? I would never have guess that.

Wow, I didn't read all the interim pages, but the minimum buy for custom headstamped brass is now 30,000 pieces?

No Sir, its 100,000! Most of the guys are pledging for 500-1000 so we could use a few more takers.

Wow, I didn't know that sixgun cartridges were such a stretch for Leverguns.com. Alas, 23% of voters for Leverguns brass want it in a revolver catridge.O.S.O.K. wrote:There's another thread about "leverguns" brass. That's more like it for us.
