Who is the Ruger No1 guru around here?

Post by awp101 »

I know someone here is a fan of the No1 and knows a bunch about the different variants but I can't remember who it is...

I know 6pt-sika has way too many No.1's. Or, perhaps it's his father. In either case, he seems pretty knowledgeable concerning No.1's.

You need to join the yahoo mail list on Ruger #1's. A lot of pretty knowledgeable folks on the list.

I dunno if I'm a guru . But between what my fathers bought , what I've given him and what I have we have maybe 18 Ruger #1's at the moment .

Most of ours are the no longer made Ruger #1B , although we have a pair of #1H's which were refferred to as the Tropical Rifle . Also have a couple in the #1V variation which is nothing more then the #1B with a varmint weight barrel and scope blocks instead of the half rib .

I wanna get a couple in the #1A variation preferrably the no longer chambered 7x57 as well as the Davidsons Special run in 6.5x55 . Also the new one in 6.5 Creedmoor is very intresting to me .
To say nothing of the #1V in 6.5 Creedmoor .
