Williams FP Firesight installation

Post by Bigahh »

I have one on the way to try out on either my Model 64A, or my NIB 1984 model 94 in 30-30. If I like it I will order a 2nd. I am assuming both rifles are Pre -D&T from the factory(the 2 small parallel screws on the receiver) Is this an easy job for myself to install? Or should I bring it to a smith? Any advice is appreciated.

If the rifle is pre D&T it is a simple project and the instructions come with the sight. Have fun.

Yeah, installing it is actually easier than using it...and it's pretty simple to use.

I will advise this, though: Go ahead and order the second one, now. :D

Tri the FP with original sight before installing the Firesight. IMHO the Firesight is too bright, and you may find it easier to shoot well with a standard bead or post.
