for several days.
The tubes were flung at high velocity across the face of the earth.
When we escaped we found ourselves in a strange place called Austin, Texas!
It is cold here!
But I am enjoying being with the kids and grandkids ... and I am enjoying the food! Twyla is having a grand time.

Salt Lick and County Line for barbeque.

Plenty of others, too.

Salt Lick, I can taste it now. Best B-B-Q in the World.
And BTW; in the middle of no where.

Jim T,
You're lucky you're in Austin now.. In 2-3 months, Mozambique is probably cooler than the Tx Summer.
Black's, Kreitz's, & Cishoml Trail bbq in Lockhart (about 30-45 min) out of Austin ain't bad.

Jim: Welcome back! Do yourself a favor while in Austin and visit Sam's BBQ on E. 12th street. This is a BAD part of town so...
Don't go at night...
Don't take your women...
Don't go unarmed...
Take 2- bites and check the truck frequently...
This is the best Q anywhere - WAY better than Salt lick - and is well worth the visit to the wrong side of the tracks.

Maybe we should get a bunch of levergunners from Texas together and all go. It would probably be a good time and we could all watch each others backs.

I can just smell the fresh made white bread at County Line. That's killing me. Enjoy your visit.

I don't know why, but for some reason that makes it taste even better.
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.
History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.
