That is not a bad size for Canada,
It was not exactly in KirkD's area Kirk lives in Ontario and that was taken about 1000 miles from there. We have a pretty big country.

iceman, as you can tell I have never been to Canada but I consider Dalhart to be close to me and it's about 700 miles away here in Texas. ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Is that real???
Re: OT- The mule deer get rather big in KirkD's area!
Yes sir, that is a large deer! If all is porportional, it appears the bow is about 6' long and the arrows just a bit less than 4' (and they both could be).

Nice Deer for sure. Any idea what part of Sask that was taken in? I'd say the southwestern part from the looks of the picture.

It's not close to me anymore, but I grew up in Manitoba, just next door to Saskatchewan. I'd guess that Mulie was taken in the soutwestern quarter of SK. The further East you go, the scarcer the Mulies are.
Kirk: An old geezer who loves the smell of freshly turned earth, old cedar rail fences, wood smoke, a crackling fireplace on a snowy evening, pristine wilderness lakes, the scent of
cedars and a magnificent Whitetail buck framed in the semi-buckhorn sights of a 120-year old Winchester.

There is getting to be more and more around here Kirk. DNR won't release numbers but this deer season it was about half and half what we saw from between mulies and whitetails.

If I member right most modern compounds are around 36"long and when I shot one years ago I used a 31" arrow.
maybe it's just the way it's posed in the picture but somthin just don't look right?
