Pokey,
In Elma, we got about 2", but the main storm passed north of us.

the news would have us believe the area around you got hit pretty bad, but
sounds as if you got away ok. i'm at about 800', if you drop down into town
there is almost no snow at all. lots of ice though, and cars in the ditch all over.

A friend was stranded in Bremerton due to trees down from the wind. He spent two nights in a hotel because he couldn't get home to Shelton.

We just had to back to back go through here, got 4 inches the first time and 8 inches the second time. Thankfully it is really light and fluffy and easy to move.

hey Blaine, I bet you remember this... I found these today. The first is really generic, but the second. I'll bet you saw this scene several times, just as I did. I am REALLY glad I'm not there now. I bet they've been in blackout every night among other things...

I'm just a little South and over the "border". I'm out in the unincorporated 'burbs and had about 1/2" of snow, on top of frozen pavement. I have to drive down about a quarter mile 20% + grade, to get to the main road. Once I made it into downtown Portland there was no sign of any snow or ice.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.
