There is and has always been.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

We all know the 45-70 is the only one worth having. That little 444 is just a wannabe.

Well, I am headed to a 40th college reunion in Wilkes Barre, wondered if old girlfriends should be treated differently if you haven't seen them in 40 years and your wife hasn't met them than is she has. :) :) Never know where you guys will head with an open ended question.

I prefer 444 Marlin, partly because that is what I have, and partly because that is what I have. Had a 45-70 in a Ruger #1 years ago- never even fired it. Sure was HOT (whoops ) in Nor Cal today. :D

Geez OS, how many ex-gf's are we talkin here?

But in reality, i would think after a few years, your wife has probably developed a thick skin to a lot of your past antics, much as mine has . I've thought similar thoughts before -- but only about 1 or 2 other ladies, not a early 70's Glen Campbell'esque harem or anything. Turned out the ladies in question had similar trepidation about encountering me and mine after so long too :D and my wife took it all in stride, reminding me that i married an amazing woman

Hopefully everyone can keep it civil and you can relax afterward with a highball of Jeremiah Weed, in quiet contemplation about how good life is ! :D

But to Fred I have to answer no, there really shouldn't be. That said, I'm a guest here and I thank the host and moderators for maintaining what is one of the best sites on the internet.

And by the way [SNORT!] everyone knows it's .30WCF! .32WS indeed...

Four, she knows two and doesn't know the other two. One we vacation with and two of them don't talk to me. One won't, she says she is heart sick that I am a Republican and one really isn't allowed to but she will be there. It is all a little complicated.

Well Fred, so long as you don't treat them like current girl friends, things should go fine. If your wife puts up with your hugging and collecting all the photos with the other women in your life, a little reunion wont cause any problems. The no tongues suggestion should be high on the list of conduct!!
