OT-Finally, after 8 months, I'm employed again

Post by Jason_W »

I was just offered a job as a newspaper reporter for a local weekly in a very nice part of coastal Maine. We haven't worked out the start date yet, but I've already started the housing scramble. I'm pretty psyched.

Hope so. There are some big chunks of public land, as well as open to the public paper company land relatively nearby. Unfortunately, hunting is not allowed on the island where we will be living, excepting nuisance permits.

Actually, they seem pretty open minded. When applying, I referred to my website as an example of my writing/editing abilities, and the gun content didn't put anyone off.

Excellent..!

Now use some $ from that second paycheck and do-us some of your World Famous Bullet tests with that green clay goop. We haven't had a decent round of tests in a good while..!

Congrats and good luck with the new job. After 16 months I'm still retired and hope to stay that way. Quite a difference in perspective.
