OT Wife passed her nursing boards

Post by fordwannabe »

I see some of the other current post on here about family and the not so good things that can happen and to all, you are in my prayers. God bless you, and may he start the healing in your lives.
I just had a very good thing happen here, my wife after 3 years of nursing school took her state boards yesterday and as of 11:30 this morning, she had a license issued in her name...SHE PASSSED. She has been working as a graduate nurse for several weeks but as of today she is official.
Dinner is on me and the stress level is way down...I'm betting she feels better too  . Tom

That's great!

Now she doesn't have to leave the house, 'cause she knows how to birth her own baby.

A good credential to have, and good job security - she'll have to take care of all us 'boomers' as we age (if the government doesn't just euthanize us first).

CONGRATULATIONS! And it is nice to be happy for someone sometime! As I spend a lot of time in ER's as a EMT/First Responder, I have a tremendous respect and admiration for nurses!!! They often do more to calm a patient that the docs do. Of course the doc has other priorities.

Mr. FordWannabe,

I have been following your other posts as well as I can and I know you have had several challenges, lately. So - Praise the Lord! I am glad that Mrs. Wannabe did so well. Prayers going out for her continued success as she jumps into service, and for for good news at your household.

Thanks John, other than her taste in men she's a pretty smart cookie. I was confident in her but it is a blessing to have the license in hand. as for the other things in my life I am GOOD. No more cancer, losing weight, off my diabetes meds,no high blood pressure any more, all things are possible through God and he has blessed me A WHOLE BUNCH. Tom

Congrats to the Mrs. I remember when my Mom passed her's, and although she's been retired for over 20 years, she still studies the latest, and keeps current. Great career. And it sounds like you ARE doin' good, congrats on that also.
