Finally figured out how to get the darn wart safety off of my Win.94 Big Bore .356, well thanks to a gentleman on this website "Mark" I got it off and put two small 1/4" plastic caps in the hole and now it looks like a real Winchester.
Even with the safety off you cannot drop the rifle and make it fire, its first notch is below the firing pin and cannot fire unless you pull the trigger. The hammer is a rebounding strike and will not do that unless the trigger is pulled. Its first safety is the lever has to held up to the stock pushing in the pin to release the hammer. 2nd safety is the rebounding notch where the hammer sets. How many safety's do you need. I kept the safety parts just to keep it a keepsake.
