Hopefully we'll get a Range Report next weekend when YK2 shoots whatever new levergun his dad got him... 8)

'Course he could have been a bad kid this year, and just got some new socks or something... :(

Happy Birthday phc45-70!

I know Y2K is having a great birthday, but I'll wish him a happy one anyway. He had a dozen boys over last night for a party, and we spent half of it shooting BB guns in the back yard. Y2K showed off a bit (okay, a lot). After they ate they were all running around the yard playing "war". They had grabbed every toy sword, bow, and spear Y2K had. First time in a long time I've seen them all played with, and I realized he had enough to "arm" all his friends. I guess they were going for a mini-Braveheart theme! By the time the parents came to pick them all up they were all sugar-ed up on cake and ice-cream, and all sweaty from running in the yard.

Last year before my little man becomes a teenager... :( :( :(

My son a few years ago found the rack of conduit and copper pipe scraps out in the barn left over from building our house, and must have made a couple dozen swords and guns out of them by cutting them or flattening them (if he wanted a sword or bayonet), then wrapping them in duct-tape to hold all the parts together. For awhile he had a whole collection of them, and would load them all in the car to go visit (plan wars) with his friends.

He was actually CUTE back then...

Hoping both of you had a great day!

Y2K, I feel like I know you through your Dad. He's real proud of you, and you have a lot to be proud of as well in him.

I wish I only had twelve candles to blow out. Instead, I need a fire truck to stand by and disable the smoke detectors.
