Deputy Puroll used some of his luck up on that incident. Sounds like he didn't get hit real bad, but things are getting western down there. It seems to me things are getting to the point of having a firearm in hand before making any contacts. Mexico's problems are quickly becoming ours. Prayers for all the brothers and sisters working everywhere.

Prayer upward, for the deputy, and for all LEOs and peace officer who work who work along the drug routes, and for all good folks in AZ and the border areas.

Things like this are personal; US 59 passes through my beat, near its intersection with Interstate 10. A different cartel's route, but still the same war.
