OT-Got me a new pocket pistol

Post by Mich Hunter »

Did I mentioned that I have big pants  Picked this one up pretty darn cheap. Cost me an Winchester M1 carbine and some ammo. These fixed sight ones are a little harder to find, but the wait was worth it. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet since mother nature doesn't want to give up on the snow, but........ Hopefully soon I will be knocking over some tin cans with this 454. Now I just need to find some nice leather to carry it in.

Nice, avoid an inside the pants holster! May cause bruising.

Very nice piece, let us know how she shoots once your snow has gone. Target pics and distances would be good.
By the way, whats snow!!! think I saw some in a fridge once!

Very nice. My .475 is a fixed sighted version and I really like it. I managed to get a cross draw that works very well from Freedom Arms. These babies can really shoot and are so much fun. You be found wanting in the woods for more. Blessings

Nice. I always liked the looks of a short bbl'd SA. That's going to be a real blast cannon with full house 454 loads. I mistakenly had FA cut a 7.5" 83 down to ejector rod length. Sold it shortly there after. Personally, what a mistake. Got another FA 7.5" and it's bbl. is staying where it's at. One wouldn't think roughly three inches would make that big a difference, but it's amazing.

C'mon, now -- you know as well as I do that there will be a new pair of suspenders in the deal, too! :D

That is one beautiful, businesslike brute of a handgun, my friend. I can think of few that would be more fun to load for. Talk about versatility -- from rabbits to elephant!

Congrats!

I've gotten several new firearms lately that way too. Out with the old, in with the "new".

I'd put that beauty in a nice El Paso Saddlery rig.
