Guys, can I get some help? Friend has a 95% condition Winchester 38-55, serial number 44x,xxx. Book says 1908 manufacture. Any idea of price? Thanks,Mike

Ladder 13, If you post some more info and a few good pics!! Many on this forum can give you a ballpark price for the area they live in. Without that info the prices go from next to worthless all the way to you need to get a letter and $$$$$$$. Else look at auction sites and see what one in your condition has sold for recently. Just the barrell type, length, shape and type of steel make so much difference in the great 38-55.
