Vintage photo Savage 99

This hunt took place in mid-90's, Black Hills Nat'l Forest of western South Dakota. The buck was taken with a cross canyon shot, distance was 175 to 225 yards. Its difficult to estimate distance in rough canyon country. A single bullet fired from my .308 rifle got the job done.

I know, huh? When he said vintage and mid 90's, I was thinking 1890's
