A good multi bit, hollow ground screwdriver?
The bits in my old Pachmayr screwdriver set from Wally World are getting pretty crappy. I have a couple broken and bent bits and it's caused me to slightly booger a couple screws. Not happy about that. So, is there a good quality set of hollow ground screwdrivers for under $40? I've looked at reviews on Midway and people complain about broken bits for all their multi bit drivers. So what do you use?
There's two kinds of lever action rifles - those designed by J.M. Browning, and those that are inferior.

Brownells makes a nice set of bits that come in a plastic and wood case. You can choose a long handle or short handle driver to go with them. Very reasonably priced.

Past couple years I just buy a variety pack of bits at Lowes or Home depot and customize them if need be.

I'm sure many will be cringing at this but my Gunsmith set(s) came from Walmart. They are now labeled under the Winchester name and I don't know the cost now. I bought mine on clearence when they were changing over all their gun stuff to the Winchester name and cost was $7 per 31 piece set and I bought 3. Even within each set some of the bits are doubles so I was able to modify some to get the perfect fit for my Win94 screws. That kit is labeled for that gun. Another kit remains un-opened and the third I use on the other guns.
Hey, it's better than the single 6 in 1 driver I used for years!

I second (or is that third) the Brownells set.
I dont remember the price or exactly how many years or decades ago that I bought them, but A better gunsmithing screwdriver set would be hard to find.

The Brownells set is aces but it cost me about 3x $40.00 bucks. Money well spent. 1886.
