OT Humor - restaurants
Well, we have the "Hooters" chain of restaurants here (my favorite) where women with big chests work.
Where do the women who only have one leg work?

On that note, we have a Hooters here in town, but now a new restaurant opened up to compete with them called Honey Buns. Might have to check it out at lunch today.

I told someone the other day I was going to the happiest place on earth. They said "Disney?", I said "no, Hooters!"

Re: OT Humor - restaurants
Went to the Hooters in downtown Phoenix with some guys from work one time.
They both ordered a beer, and I ordered a screwdriver.
This little girl looked me square in the eye ( with her mammary glands sticking out her top & her posterior sticking out her bottom ) and said,
" Oh no sir, this is a family restaraunt, we don't serve alcohol "
I excused myself and left.
Have never been back.

Only time I have been into a Hooters was to pick up a to go order for the crew late at night at a customers site while I got something I liked elsewere. (I don't care for hot wings/ buffalo wings ) While the smell was a clean smell ( Sauce?) it was so overpowering that I doubt I will ever visit a hooters again.

Re: OT Humor - restaurants
Actually, "Hooters" is one of my favorite restaurants. Obviously the scenery is fantastic I'm not a huge buffalo wings guy just because you have to eat a ton of them to have a full meal, and they are not that great for you. My favorite is their Philly-cheese sandwich with chicken - "all the way" with peppers, onions and mushrooms. The sandwich is a meal all in itself - no need for fries. I can get it almost anywhere in the country, it is consistent, a lot better than any fast food meal, relatively inexpensive, and pretty fast. Perfect food for the "road warrior"!
Did I mention I like the scenery?

That's about all I ever get at Hooter's. I do like the Buffalo Shrimp too and add that on sometimes.

Use to go all the time. I love chicken wings. Haven't been in one for many years.

If it was a San Francisco Hooters you'd be referring to armpit hair!JohndeFresno wrote:OK - I know I'll get hate mail, but I HAVE to ask...mescalero1 wrote:Went to the Hooters in downtown Phoenix with some guys from work one time.

You should have responded with a straight face that you wanted 2 jugs of milk. And when you left you should have said,"Thanks for the mammories!"mescalero1 wrote:Went to the Hooters in downtown Phoenix with some guys from work one time.

Family resteraunt? Somehow I don't conjure up visions of Barbara Billingsley (Leave it to Beaver), Donna Reed (Donna Reed Show), June Lockheart (Lassie), Jane Wyatt (Father Knows Best) and Gale Storm ( My Little Margie) wearing those outfits. The definition of "family" has sure changed. Even in Gunsmoke, Miss Kitty wore less revealing clothes.

Re: OT Humor - restaurants
Who said Hooters was a family restaurant? Though, with their "kids eat free" on Saturdays special, it sounds like they are trying. I know it's Y2K's favorite restaurant!!!NonPCnraRN wrote:Family resteraunt? Re: OT Humor - restaurants
I wonder if in these politically correct days if a restaurant could open with the name Beaver's and use pictures of the old Leave It To Beaver TV show. On the other hand, things have degraded to the point that a show these days called Leave It To Beaver would be a reality show starring Paris Hilton.
