OT-an anniversary

Post by jnyork »

Today, the 20th of August, is the 51st anniversary of the day I was sworn into the United States Air Force at the Denver examining station. Flew to Lackland AFB the same evening and commenced a 20 year career. Good times and not so good times, all remembered now with fondness and pride.

One heck of a landmark......... If I had it to do over, I'd choose the Air Force over the Army...better chow

Congratulations. It's funny how time smooths the edges of rough times and turns them into fond memories.
