M1911 Pistol
An M1911A1 pistol is first seen in the cold dead hands of an American who resisted the Soviet invasion. The pistol is pulled from the hand of the man and inspected by a Soviet Paratrooper who stuffs it behind his webbing belt. The M1911 is also the duty pistol of Colonel Tanner (Powers Boothe).

Re: Movie Trivia
Wasn't Glover. The actor showed up in several "Dirty Harry" movies. In the last one, he shows up sneaking up behind Harry with a pistol gripped shotgun. Harry is trying out the AutoMag. He spins and sees it's his friend. Friend proceeds to destroy target with shot gun. Friend is latter killed in a hotel room.
Just found it. The actor is Albert Popwell. He was the pimp in the car under the bridge in Magnum Force, and the head of the Black Power group in the Enforcer.

Re: Movie Trivia
Pump shotgun either an early 870 (modified) or a mossberg. I believe it had a round pump.
