Hook took a 105 thru & thru in flight went in a hot air area

Hook took a 105 he had some structure damage

Slicks hauling 1/9 Blues ( grunts attached to the 1/9 Cav)

Slicks coming in to pick up 1/7 Cav grunts

F/79 ARA Blue Max ,charlie was using 51's,23mm, 37mm, 57mm AA guns one bird was hit with a sam7 and lost his tailboom behind the engine was able to land but before we got there the NVA killed the pilots. RIP guys. They used HEAT rounds on T54 and PT76's In 1/9 all we had was HE rounds

Great pictures. To all who served, Stands Alone Sir! and when I was on Jump Status, it would have been, All The Way and Then Some Sir! RIP all those who didn't make it home.

Thanks, Danny. Going through the Corps in '74 I didn't make it to Nam. Rode on a few Chinooks though.
