Seemed down, but with a phone call, Mr. Jim assured me that they are open for business and was pleased to sell me 3 Happy Triggers. I got a silver one for the GS, and a couple for the 1894 Family; the Bee will get one and for now, I'll have to decide which of the others, a .44, a 25-20, and a 32-20 will get the other one (I suspect the 32-20 as I see myself shooting that one more than the 25-20). I want to get all the Marlins so equipped as soon as I can.... There just is nothing like a Happy Trigger!

What is a Happy Trigger...? (...does it come with fries...?)

Seriously, does it improve accuracy?

It's a drop-in trigger for Marlin 1894s and 1895s. No flop, zero creep and breaks clean as glass at 2-3 pounds. I put one on my 1895CB a couple years ago and I can't believe I've waited so long to do a couple more. Some claim that a good Smith can do better, but I don't know if I'd want hunters with lighter trigger pulls than that......

Blaine gets excited about the oddest things. I've shot his cowboy rifle and I couldn't tell the difference between it and any of the rest of the herd. Ya shot one marlin, ya shot almost all of 'em.

Now you got me to thinking. My Cowboy II was pretty darn good right out of the box. In fact I was amazed at the whole thing. It had better than average wood, the action was smooth, and the trigger was good. I was actually wondering if the Cowboy guns were built with a little extra TLC.
