Super buck! :D And thats OK that it not a levergun, it is a nice Winchester AND with a period scope. Those old K-Series Weavers are nearly indestructable.----------Sixgun

NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!

Mines a 47' std. grade on 30Govt.06. 1947 Lyman Alaskan 2 3/4 pwr scope in original Redfield Jr. mount & rings. Won't ever part with it. My #1 Rifle. Inherited from my father-in-law including its sling & scabbard.

Low 61,xxx range.

Looks like Freer or Carrizo Springs area - am I close? I used to hunt Choke Canyon and Uvalde but that is a definitely un muy grande venado.

That is one impressive massive rack on that buck. A nice model 70 the next best thing to a levergun, nice piece! Call me crazy but everytime I see the xpression on the bucks face in the top pic it just cracks me up. The only critique I have on photos is you have too much hair on top. :D Congrats on a succesful hunt!
