OT- HELP!?

Post by Old Ironsights »

My CCW rig just broke its clip. I've been able to rig up a psudo-replacement but it's not really long-term viable.

My GoogleFu has failed me and I can't find anyone who does custom Kydex accessories.

Anybody got any ideas for me?

Are you needing a replacement or repair?
I'd look for a custom holster maker or even a good cobbler if the parts are intact and just need to be reattached...

I don't know much about holsters, but maybe this guy can help?

Replace. Not much you can do to fix Kydex once it's broken.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

O.I., at the Indy 1500 gun show there were at least 3 different outfits making custom Kydex accessories while you waited. They were all busy. There are quite a few places that sell Kydex and it's fairly easy to work with. Check out: http://www.paracordsecrets.com/

I contacted them and Crossbreed is going another direction and not doing that kind of kydex any more. Thanks for the link though.

I may have to get a sheet of kydex and see how bad I am at botching it...

I got my Kydex off eBay. Cheap. Use a heat gun or hot hair dryer. Way easy to work with.
Kind regards,
Tycer
